Desirelines

We first  met whilst studying for our Foundation Degrees in Garden Design at Plumpton College. A keen interest in modern architecture, art and sculpture and a passion for exciting, good and thoughtful design brought us together. A love of clothes and good food also helped!

Andrea has a BSc in Botany, and interior design qualifications from the Inchbald School of Design and has considerable experience of
construction project management. With Elizabeth’s arts degree
and 15 years’ production and design management in the creative
industries, we believe we are an ideal partnership.

What are desirelines?

Desirelines is the poetic name given by architects and landscape designers to paths created in a space by the repetition of footsteps; they are not formal designed pathways. They illustrate the way people  wish to go, sometimes, though not always, the most direct route to their destination.

'do not go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail' Ralph Waldo Emerson
